Our Fyzical Therapy Team

Beyond the degree and licensing required by law, we certify our physical therapists, occupational therapists, and massage therapist meet the highest standards in the industry. Only then can they provide you with service. A core requirement for all our therapists is a loving, caring and helpful personality.

At FYZICAL® in Deland you'll experience an individualized, supportive approach to therapy. One that uses hands on techniques and tailor made exercise programs delivered by expertly trained and licensed therapists who work one-on-one with you during your therapy sessions. We not only practice therapy but we live and breathe it and which results in high patient satisfaction.

 

Barbara A. Divincenzo, OTR/L

 

Barbara is a licensed Occupational Therapist with over 30 years’ experience as a Registered and licensed Occupational Therapist.  She received her BS in Occupational Therapy from Utica College of Syracuse University in Utica, NY. She began her career working in inpatient and then outpatient rehabilitation at local the hospital in which she developed programs and advanced the outpatient program. In 1993, she started Premier Rehab, Inc., looking to provide high quality outpatient rehabilitation to the DeLand community with a Speech Therapist colleague. She continued to build the practice adding Physical Therapy a year later and continuing to receive further education and training. She bought into the Fyzical Therapy and Balance Franchise December 2017. She is a certified level 2 vestibular therapist, certified in serial casting and splinting. She treats all ages from birth to geriatrics with confidence. 

Barbara is family oriented, having a loving husband and three children and soon to be two sons in law. She loves people, and her community. She has volunteered in various community events, a former Volusia volunteer firefighter/first responder for Kepler Ridge Fire Dept, running the Philly sub booth at the St. Peter’s Oktoberfest for several years, participated in many 5Ks and 10ks, and enjoys participating in obstacle course 5K events with friends. She enjoys swimming, exercising, walking, meals with family and friends, vacationing in the finger lakes, NY and Hawaii.

 Allison Johns, Practice Manager    

Allison Johns is a key factor for the decision to join the Fyzical Therapy and Balance Franchise and was instrumental in the success of transforming into our present-day facility. She is highly dedicated and task oriented. She has a huge heart and love for people. She treats all patients and staff like family and works diligently to make all our patients and staff feel satisfied and cared for. She strives for excellence and thinks “outside the box”. She loves her family and loves to spend time with her husband, daughter, son in law, stepchildren and grandson. She is especially devoted to her only grandson. She loves to cruise and takes as many cruises as she can. She likes the casinos and to travel with family and friends. She would like to travel the world one day.        

 Lucy, CCS

Lucy joined our Fyzical team in 2019. Lucy is bilingual in both spanish and english, helping provide exceptional care to our patients from all backgrounds. Lucy moved to Deland, Florida when she was 2 years old. Lucy plays a big role in helping manage our facility and makes sure all of our patient's needs are met. She enjoys going to the beach, going to new places, and spending time with her dog Max. 

Brandi Koehler, PT/DPT

Brandi has grown up in Deland, FL with the exception of moving to Pennsylvania for a few years during her eary childhood. Brandi attented Stetson University where she recieved her Bachelors of Science Degree in Integraive Health Science. She then went to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of South Florida in 2019 and joined the Fyzical Team in 2019. Brandi enjoys working with the geriatric population to allow them to reach their goals and improve their quality of life. Outside of work Brandi enjoys staying active, spending time at the beach, and enjoys to cook and eat good food. Brandi also loves dogs and has two black labs. 

    Marissa Greco, OTA/L 

Marissa received her Associate of Applied Science degree in 2019 at Remington College, graduating from Occupational Therapy Assistant program. She is registerd with the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy and has experience in outpatient pediatric, early intervention programs, and treating adults and geriatrics in inpatient and outpatient settings. Marissa joined the Fyzical Team in 2019. She has a passion for helping families to be able to participate in everyday activities. Marissa enjoys camping, outdoor activities, going to sporting events, and exploring new places.
